The Shimano PD-M520 pedals are Shimano's classics and are a tried and trusted pedal. The pedals are known for their reliability and performance, developed for mountain bikers, but of course also suitable for road cyclists. These pedals can serve cyclists who are just starting out, but are also extremely suitable for advanced cyclists. The pedal is very affordable to buy and the pedals have the same technology as the more expensive XT and XTR series. These pedals are a lot heavier than their more expensive brothers, but this is offset by a favourable price. Thanks to the open profile found on the PD-M520 pedals, no mud can get stuck while unclipping. The spring tension is adjustable and it can be set very low for easy unclicking, or screw up. The pedals come with the SH-M51 cleats with three degrees of play.
